3.) Autoresponder
Unless you plan on continually selling products for others and doing nothing but directing traffic to affiliate sites your work from home business must have an autoresponder. Think of an autoresponder as a private secretary that takes care of all of your mail and contact with your customers.
4.) Squeeze Page
When I said that your work from home business should have a webpage and that having one would be more profitable in the long run this is what I meant. A squeeze or landing page is used to capture information from your visitors. Your autoresponder will provide you with cut and paste code that you insert into the squeeze page and it will allow your visitors to join your newsletter, get their free gift, etc. all in exchange for their information.
5.) Advertising
Advertising is an absolute must, not only in a work from home business but any business at all. There are many ways that you might advertise and this article is not the place to discuss the myriad forms of advertising. When you get down to it though there are only two forms of advertising, free and paid. I will dig into advertising much deeper at another time.
6.) Dedication and Diligence
Rome was not built in a day and your successful work from home business will not be either. Even though your business is online it still has to be built brick by brick. If you are looking for the magic formula that will make you rich in 30 days or less then you will be sadly disappointed. Building a successful and profitable business takes time, dedication, and diligence.
The building blocks for you work from home business include products, a website, an autoresponder, squeeze pages, advertising, and the dedication to make it work. I only touched on each point in this article to make you aware of the essentials.
